Dust Blankets Sumner Beach After Quake Triggers Cliff Collapse

A 5.8-earthquake hit Christchurch on Sunday, February 14, causing cliff collapse in the suburb of Sumner and a sinkhole on a busy street. A 10 feet long, one feet deep (three metres long, one metre deep) sinkhole opened up on Bower Avenue, but no major structural damage was reported.
