Dramatic footage of the Arctic conditions currently hitting southern Ontario, Canada.

The video, shot early in the morning yesterday, shows large blocks of ice in the lake, as well as freezing mist in the air.

The filmer later described the conditions online as an "Arctic blast" and a "polar vortex".
