Special thanks to Nao Yeng Yang, Pamelas brother, Attorney Koob Tswj Fwm Vwj (Vue Law Firm) and President of MN Hmong 18 Clan, Zong Leng Pha. At the time of airing this episode of Xav Paub Xav Pom, the body of Pamela Yang was still not returned for a proper funeral. Meng Moua, Pamelas husband ordered her body to be taken away while a funeral was underway 3HMONGTV will keep everyone up to date on this developing story as more information becomes available.
Meng and Pamela were happily married for over 20 years until recently when Meng started seeing another woman according to Pamelas family. Then they separated.
Unfortunately, Pamela had cervical cancer and died. She had a $200,000 life insurance policy. Shortly before she died, Pamela designated her brother as the beneficiary. There was controversy over who was going to get the benefits.
During their entire marriage, the couple was not able to conceive a child of their own so they adopted a baby girl from Pamelas brother. After Pamelas death, the girl, now six, was returned to her biological parents. Now Pamelas family is demanding to have her body brought back for a public funeral and proper burial. The husband refused. He now has her body and insurance money.
