A deteriorating Detroit school has gotten a major boost from a celebrity.
On her February 11 show, Ellen DeGeneres announced that Spain Elementary-Middle School would be receiving a $500,000 donation from Lowe’s for “technology, materials for renovations around the campus, and funding for additional staff.”
Adding to that amount was Justin Bieber who appeared as a surprise guest to announce that he would be donating $1 from each ticket of his Palace of Auburn Hills show on April 25 in Michigan.
