Chocolate Fries & Mashed Potato Burgers from McDonald's?!?!?! - Food Feeder
  • 8 years ago
McDonald’s news abounds because they are doing some crazy things with food, like giving you chocolate sauce for your fries!

When you think of things to put on your french fries, chocolate is probably not what comes to mind. Leave it to McDonald’s Japan to do exactly what we weren’t thinking! That’s right now you can smother those fried potato pieces in gooey chocolate, because just one of those things doesn’t clog your arteries fast enough! Chocolate covered fries aren’t the only trick McDonald’s Japan has up their sleeve. Soon they’ll be releasing a new burger, described as “Hokkaido hot potato and cheddar cheese with a juicy beef patty topped with onion sauce full of roasted soy flavor.” So it’s pretty much a burger topped with mashed potatoes and a few other toppings, on the downside it’s still a McDonald’s burger under it all. It’s not just McDonald’s Japan making news. McDonald’s Canada have added something to the menu. They jumped on the kale peddling bandwagon and now offer a crispy chicken kale caesar salad. Unfortunately it turns out that you’d be better of eating a Double Big Mac than one of these ridiculously unhealthy salads.

Would you ever put chocolate sauce on your french fries? What is your favorite french fry topping? Does the Hokkaido burger sound good to you? Have you ever had mashed potatoes on your burger? Would you rather eat a Double Big Mac or McDonald’s Caesar Salad with Crispy Chicken and Asiago Caesar Dressing? What’s the most unhealthy salad you’ve ever eaten?
