Hazrat Ali (ra) stated that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will spiritually conquer Damascus and China

ADNAN OKTAR: "Imam Ali ordained: ‘Then, Mahdi (as) will descend to Damascus and conquer there. There are messengers of love of Mahdi (as) and sends them to where his grandfather", which refers to our Prophet (saas), “directed saying, ‘Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China.’" This is what Hazrat Ali (ra) says.

Note that, "Imam Ali ordained: ‘Mahdi (as) will descend to Damascus and conquer there.’ He will spiritually conquer there. ‘There are messengers of love of Mahdi (as).’ ‘And sends them to where his grandfather,’ who is the grandfather of Mahdi (as)? He is our Prophet (saas). "Directed saying, ‘Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China.’" This is in Kitab al-Jafr, Imam Ali, page 351. What does the hadith that "Seek knowledge even if you have to go as far as China" refer to? The spiritual conquest of China.
