Ready for kickoff!
Lady Gaga performed the National Anthem prior to the start of Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7.
The 29-year-old singer, who is also scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards and Oscars this month, took the field in a red-sequined, two-piece suit with matching eyeshadow to deliver an emotional version of "The Star Spangled Banner."
Midway through the performance, the “Applause” singer started to tear up, but didn’t let that stop her from delivering a beautiful rendition of the anthem.
“I’ve always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl, and for it to be the Super Bowl, it is the ultimate…” Gaga trailed off, before calling the performance “one of the highest honors” of her career thus far.
