Apple to Accept iPhone Trade-Ins With Damaged Screens
  • 8 years ago
The Apple Store Reuse and Recycle trade-in program is now accepting damaged goods.
Starting this week, Apple Stores are giving credit for iPhone 5s and iPhone 6/6 Plus units with damaged displays, cameras, and buttons-within reason.
Current trade-in values include $50 for an iPhone 5s, $200 for an iPhone 6, and $250 for a 6 Plus , according to the site.
Previously, Apple Store employees were warned against performing screen protector installations for fear of incorrectly fitting a third-party product.
In the case of these new systems, however, if something goes wrong, Apple will provide a free replacement and re-attempt installation.
