Florida shoplifter caught after leaving urine puddle in fitting room

DESTIN, FLORIDA — A Florida woman was arrested last Friday for stealing $2,100 worth of designer merchandise from two stores, after she left behind in the changing room not only her phone, but also a puddle of unusual evidence.
According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, Brooke Amber Sutton went to an Ann Taylor store in Florida's Silver Sands Outlets, where she hauled items to the fitting room. Inside, she took off the security tags and left the store with 18 unpaid pieces of merchandise.
Employees later found that she had left them a little yellow present on the floor of the fitting room and on some clothes.
In her hurry to empty the contents of her bladder, the thieving 27-year-old left something else behind — her phone.
Police tracked Sutton down in the parking lot, after calling her husband and getting a description of her car. They found six stolen designer jeans on her in addition to what she stole from Ann Taylor.
Northwest Florida Daily News reports that Sutton had gone to Saks Fifth Avenue afterwards and sneaked the jeans out by wearing them over her arms and then throwing on a men's suit jacket.
She was charged with two counts of felony retail theft and jailed, but was released on a $5,000 bond and is awaiting trial.
