4 students on board school bus involved in deadly crash in New Jersey

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP / NEW JERSEY — A New Jersey public school bus was involved in a deadly crash with a black Toyota SUV around 7:40 a.m. Thursday morning. Children were aboard the bus which was enroute to Pineland Learning Center in Vineland.

The crash occurred on the 800 block of Commerce Street in Fairfield Township, New Jersey. Views from news helicopters, confirmed by police reports, showed that the bus was overturned.

The driver of the SUV was killed. The bus driver, bus aide, and four of the students, ages 11 - 17, were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Details regarding what might have caused the crash have not been released
