Brie Larson took home the award for best actress in a leading role for Room at tonight’s 2016 SAG awards.

Nominated for her performance in ‘Room’ Brie Larson took home the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role.
Before Brie acknowledged the cast and crew she thanked everyone in the audience… The other actors and creators in the room saying that she was born questioning everything about reality, feeling lost and alone and always worried that she was deeply unlovable, but stated that watching all their movies made her feel less alone and able to explore her creativity. Before walking off stage she even joked that she’d be writing some more thank you cards.
