Former French justice minister has her say with surprise book

Live from the newsroom, France 24's Oliver Farry provides an overview of stories making French newspaper headlines.
Christiane Taubira, who resigned last week as French justice minister, has stated her case with a surprise book, prepared in utmost secrecy, in which she criticises the government's planned measure to strip dual citizens suspected of terrorist offences of their French citizenship. The book however stops short of attacking President François Hollande and Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
Elsewhere in France, the government also faces criticism over a new law that would make it easier for French police to use their firearms, including allowing them to carry guns while off duty.
