Meet Magoo, from the Humane Society of Pulaski County . He's a brave little guy who does not let bi-lateral cataracts and age (11) slow him down that much. He's listed as a poodle mix. I'd venture a guess that there's also terrier in the genes. If he were a human he'd probably be classified as legally blind BUT, as you can tell from some of the photos, he's adventurous and ...friendly with other dogs. Also small. Our black lab mix, Shannon, seems to have taken a special liking to him. He was slow about coming up the long inside stairs BUT she kept going down the stairs, whining as if encouraging him, until he followed her upstairs. One of the pictures shows them together on the back mini-deck and a close-up or two of Magoo, and at least one picture of him making his way down the short flight of outside steps. I was impressed. He still does NOT like to go down the long interior stairs -- but he'll go up them
