Mugger begs for his victim's mercy after breaking ankle while running away

BOSTON — A robber broke his ankle after pulling a knife on a stranger in Boston, Massachusetts and stealing their phone.
A video posted on LiveLeak shows the robber leaning against a house and begging the man he had robbed only moments before for mercy, going as far as to swear on his mother's grave. The man hesitated to help the robber, saying that he would probably just go and rob someone else.
In the end though, the robber's victim didn't call the cops and left the injured mugger with the owner of the house.
In a post that accompanied the video on LiveLeak, the owner of the phone said he chased the little punk over two fences. The boy broke his ankle while leaping over the second fence.
