Rihanna's new love song is a work song.
The first single off the Barbadian singer’s highly anticipated new album dropped Wednesday — and it’s all about a dumped lover promising she’s ready to make everything right again.
“If I get another chance to, I will never, no never neglect you," she sings in the song, called "Work," which features Drake.
"Please recognize I'm trying baby.
I been work, work, work."
It’s unclear which failed relationship Rihanna is referencing.
She was once romantically involved with Drake, and she’s also been linked to rapper Travis Scott, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and of course her famous on-again, off-again boyfriend Chris Brown.
The new song comes two days after Rihanna teased fans that she had finally finished her long-awaited album, "Anti," by tweeting a photo of herself wearing headphones and a gold crown similar to the one on the album cover.
