Joyner Lucas | Mean 16
The Rapfest continues to separate itself from other hip-hop curators with the release of original cipher and Mean 16 series. Following up our Locksmith installment, Joyner Lucas steps to the plate. Joyner adds new heat to the Feb 9th instrumental which was the backdrop for The Rapfest Cipher Series 11 which featured, RCA recording artist Dee-1, Nitty Scott and DMV's emerging artist, Rob Regal. Director Chris Zino captured the domineering qualities of Joyner to perfection by knowing when to follow the rules of film and also when to break them. Even through the rain, you can see an unclose shot of Joyner spitting his verse unfazed. Look out for Joyner Lucas on a cypher at the upcoming BET Awards.
