Taiwan's real-life 'Kung Fu Panda' will kill you with her cuteness

TAIPEI — At the Taipei Zoo, where pandas are the star attraction, one particular giant panda shows off her kung-fu moves and slays zoo visitors with her cute antics.

Yuan Zai was born in 2013, the first giant panda cub to be born in Taiwan. Visitors to the Taipei Zoo flock in droves to catch a glimpse of the adorable cub, who spends up to ten hours a day sleeping and the rest of the time feeding on bamboo. Though known to be slow and somewhat clumsy, pandas are generally good climbers and can quickly climb up treetops under the right circumstances.

Footage taken on Wednesday shows Yuan-Zai in a remarkably energetic mood, as she is filmed climbing up branches, doing cartwheels and playing all around her enclosure. Amused zoogoers were taken with her cute antics, dubbing her "Kung Fu Panda" after she showed off her moves just before feeding time.
