One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has confirmed the birth of his child on Twitter.
"I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday.
He is healthy and pretty amazing.
I'm very happy!!"
the 24-year-old boybander tweeted on Saturday, Jan. 23.
In a follow-up tweet, the British crooner wrote the phrase, "Daddy daddy cool," which he accompanied with a music note and headphones emoji.
As previously reported, Tomlinson and his friend Briana Jungwirth welcomed their first child together in Los Angeles.
News that Tomlinson and the 23-year-old L.A.-based stylist were expecting a baby broke last July.
The pregnancy was first confirmed by Jungwirth's dad, Joe Jungwirth, in an interview with the Daily Mail.
