Salman Khan Insulting AR Rahman at album launch with Kapil Sibal

It was an afternoon meant to launch a collaborative effort between Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman and Kapil Sibal Union Home Minister of Law and Justice and Communications and Information and Technology. The occasion was to launch a music album titled Raunaq in which Sibal has penned the lyrics while Rahman has scored the music.
The pre-lunch launch event started only after everybody had finished lunch. The album was officially launched at the hands of superstar Salman Khan who arrived at around 2.30 pm yesterday (27th February). When Salman was asked to speak at the event he said, "Aap sabhi ko toh maloom hai Rahman bade average hain. What is common between us is Jai Ho."
After naming the singers that Rahman has worked in the album, Salman asked Rahman, "Hamare saath kab kaam karogey?"
It may be recalled that soon after his Slumdog Millionaire victory internationally which fetched him an Oscar, Rahman had trademarked the title 'Jai Ho.' Rahman had even performed several concerts titled Jai Ho in various parts of the world. The song Jai Ho appears towards the end of the Danny Boyle's Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
