A Minnesota man was pulled over for erratic driving on Tuesday only to admit to the officer that he had been reading a James Patterson novel on his tablet; he was given a ticket for the offense.
On Tuesday, police in Eagan, Minnesota, pulled over a car that had been seen swerving and moving erratically.
According to the dashcam video, the officer and driver have an exchange where the driver admits he had been reading a James Patterson novel.
The e-book was reportedly on a tablet which is why he said he had been looking at his lap.
