Greece Says at Least 42 Dead, Including 17 Children, After Two Migrant Boats Sink

The Greek coast guard said Friday at least 42 people, including 17 children, lost their lives in two separate incidents after migrant boats sank in the Aegean Sea off two Greek islands overnight.
A wooden boat carrying 49 people overturned in the early hours of Friday off the small islet of Farmakonisi.
Forty-one of the passengers were rescued, but eight bodies, including those of six children, were recovered from the sea.
In the second incident, a sailboat sank off the islet of Kalolimnos and 34 bodies have been recovered so far.
