Crash statistics show that children who aren't belted into child seats are seven times more likely to be injured or killed in the event of an accident. That's why adults carry a special responsibility to make sure child passengers are secure. Child seats are a tricky topic. To protect infants during an accident, it's important that the seat is appropriate for the child's age and size -- and that it has been installed properly.
