Airport is a place there you are either sitting or making a walk but when it comes to Pakistani cricketers they have the tendency to even create an airport into a playing field. Consider walking into an airport and suddenly you witness some known faces playing cricket, what would be your reaction.
Well, of course, this was not a real match but a preparation of a new ad for a soft drink brand but it featured some of the top names in Pakistan cricket. The idea was conceived by the sale department of this company.
The script was to let people see Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul, Younis Khan, Shoaib Akhtar, Abdul Razzaq and a few others Pakistani cricketers waiting for their plane at an airport and suddenly they make an arrangement for themselves and starts playing cricket
Afridi as is seen holding the bat while Gul was right up there with the ball. Younis was busy in setting some things else on the set. It was giving the impression of a fun zone. There was a crowd present as well to cherish their stars.
Well, this was a unique idea presented here and once this ad hit the media houses it became a big success. This brand has been supporting Pakistan cricket for more than a decade now and in the past Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and many other giants of the game have also acted in their ads. Interestingly they all have remained successful in the world of media and advertisement.
