Hrithik Roshan born on 10th January 1974, at Mumbai is an Indian actor, and son of director, producer Rakesh Roshan and Pinky. He has one sister Sunaina and he is the grandson of the legendary music director Roshan.

Hrithik is married to Suzanne Khan and have two sons - Hrehaan and Hridhaan.

Hrithik started his acting career as a child artiste in films like Aasha, Bhagwan Dada, Aap Ke Deewane in the early and mid 80s.

Hrithik learnt the craft of film making and assisted his father Rakesh Roshan in films like Karan Arjun and Koyla.

Hrithik made his debut as a hero in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai with Ameesha Patel and the film was the biggest hit of the year 2000.



Hrithik’s acting and dancing skills were appreciated by the masses and classes and he became a superstar overnight. Later he acted in films like Fiza, Mission Kashmir, Yaadein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Dhoom 2, Kites, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Jodha Akbar, Agneepath, Guzaarish, Krrish, Lakshya.

Hrithik has also sung numerous numbers for his films such as for films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kites etc.

Hrithik Roshan won the Best Actor Award by Filmfare for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Jodha Akbar, Koi Mil Gaya.

He was linked with his Kites co-star Barbara Mori to the extent that it was rumoured that his wife had left home and moved to her parent’s place. But Hrithik later managed to get them back and has ever since remained faithful to his wife.

His chocolate boy looks are the talk of the town and he manages to fit into every role with ease.

He had a stammering problem in his childhood which left him devastated. But with persistent speech therapy he has managed to overcome that. He is also said to be gifted and lucky as he has 6 fingers.



Lucky or not, Hrithik is surely one actor which is loved by people of all ages.
