Dia Mirza born on 9th Dec 1981, at Hyderabad, is an Indian actress, model, producer, and daughter of German national frank handrich and Hindu Bengali Deepa.
Dia Mirza started modeling during her collage days for print and television advertising brands like Lipton, Walls ice cream.
In the year 2000 she was runner up in Femina Miss India and in the same year won Asia Pacific Award, the first by an Indian. She did some music videos and was noticed by the film fraternity.
Dia Mirza made her debut in 2001 in a film Rehna Tere Dil Mein, and went on to act in many films like Deewanapan, Dum, My Brother Nikhil, Parineeta, Dus, Alag, Acid Factory, Love Break Up Zindagi. Dia writes columns for Hindustan Times and loves reading.
She was also a participant for a game show- Kaho Na Yaar Hai.
