Nargis Fakhri was born on 20th October 1979 in New York. She is the daughter of a Czech mother and a Pakistani father. Nargis is an international model and an actress. She was first spotted in America’s Next Top Models in the year 2004. After undertaking a long hiatus and not progressing beyond small assignments, she featured in the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar in the year 2009.

She is a U.S. citizen who has come to India as part of modeling assignments and chose to stay back by being dazzled by the glitz and glamour of Bollywood.

She made her debut in Bollywood in a film Rockstar in the year 2011. Here she was paired opposite chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor. Their onscreen chemistry was loved by one and all to the extent that it was rumored that Ranbir’s mom was contemplating making Nargis her daughter in law. But these rumors died a natural death, as all rumors do.
