Preity Zinta born on 31st January 1975, at Shimla, is an Indian actress, TV host, producer, model, and has acted in Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi, English films.


Preity Zinta is the daughter of Mr. Durganand Zinta and Nilprabha and has two brothers Deepankar and Manish.

Preity Zinta made her debut in the year 1998 in Mani Ratnam’s film Dil Se and she also starred in Soldier in the same year.

Preity Zinta has played various roles in films like Dil Se, Soldier, Dillagi, Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Kal Ho Na Ho, Lakshya, Mission Kashmir, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Jaaneman and many other films. For her performances in films like Kya Kehna, Kal Ho Na Ho she was nominated for and has won many awards.

Preity has modeled for many products and has performed live on stage all over the world.

Preity Zinta owns a media company PZNZ MEDIA and is producing a film Ishq in Paris.

Preity Zinta is part owner of IPL team Punjab Kings and also writes columns for BBC Asia.

Preity Zinta is known for expressing her opinion, has strong values and is very bold and frank, and has testified in the court against underworld and was awarded Godfrey Bravery Award.
