70s Look of Bohemian Chic
Debarun brought a melange of summer hues onto the ramp, by letting his creativity loose by selecting kora cotton and viscose woven striped fabrics and then added tribal inspired block prints. Reflecting a marked 70s look of bohemian chic, the silhouettes were free flowing and spelt ultimate comfort, allowing the wearer to make a personal fashion statement.
Shorts, 'ganjee' and tank tops - some knotted to add style, sheath dresses and swirling jackets gave women's wear a trendy touch. For evening glamour the designer worked with crepe, chiffon and tulle with splashes of metal sequins and print circles.
The floppy smock, draped net gown, gathered silk creation, interesting bold saris with stripes/ prints, vertical railroad stripe sack, mini skirt with knotted shirt were some of the eye-catching entries. The striped shift and the multi-tiered printed maxi offered a varied selection of casual and formal wear. The long regal gown that glided down the ramp with layers of flared tulle for the skirt was a sensuous end to the women's wear segment. For the men, Debarun brought in pastel linen for trousers and
teamed them with cool striped shirts and summer coats.
