Prosecutors at the ICC say they're keen to push the case against Kenya’s Vice President William Ruto, even though his lawyers say the charges should be dropped after half a dozen witnesses withdrew their testimony. Also, Ghana's president defends the decision to take in two former Guantanamo detainees, saying the pair pose no threat.
And South Sudan has been wracked with violence for two years as government forces battle rebels. The conflict has sparked a humanitarian crisis with which medics are struggling to cope.
