Vontaze Burfict facing suspension for hit on Antonio Brown

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict is facing league suspension for his hit on Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown at the end of Pittsburgh’s 18-16 wild card playoff win over Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium Saturday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Burfict picked up close to $70,000 in fines for his actions on the field in Pittsburgh’s 33-20 win over the Bengals in Week 14.
Included in that was a full-on dive at the knees of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Incidentally, a clean hit and tackle from Burfict on Roethlisberger in the third quarter chased the Steelers’ passer from the game.
