'Hookers and cocaine' Powerball winnings answer earns Las Vegas man viral fame

LAS VEGAS — "What would you spend your Powerball winnings on, sir?" the reporter asked. "Bunch of hookers and cocaine," the man answered. And with that unhesitating response, a man identified only as Isaac became a viral sensation.
Isaac was purchasing a Powerball ticket in Las Vegas before the Saturday, January 9, 2016 drawing that saw no one claim the over $900 million prize.
As Isaac was filling out his Powerball number choices, Fox 5 reporter Ophelia Young suddenly asked him what he spend his fortune on, if by some chance he won. Isaac's nonchalant "bunch of hookers and cocaine," response left the reporter giggling as she attempted to find a "more suitable" answer for her live TV audience.
The Internet, however, rather enjoyed Isaac's response and his reply went viral. He was later tracked down, however, and found to be a husband and father of two children.
Saying he never expected his response to receive so much attention, Isaac insists he was joking. Should he win a pile of cash he says, he would pay off bills, put his kids through college, and perhaps simply buy himself a nice vehicle.
The next Powerball drawing scheduled for January 13, 2016, has a record-breaking $1.3 billion jackpot. The Daily Mail reports that the Multi-State Lottery Association which operates the Powerball lottery, modified the rules of the game late last year in order to make it harder to win.
The odds of winning the jackpot rose from approximately one in 175 million, to reportedly one in over 292 million. Should no winner emerge on January 13, 2016, the pot will only swell.
