A shocking video has emerged of a Chinese tourist being attacked and injured by a snake when she tried to kiss it at a snake park in Thailand.

The footage, captured in Phuket, Thailand on Saturday, shows the woman attempting to kiss the snake when it suddenly turns around and bites her on her nose.

According to news reports, the woman from Shanghai was sent to a local hospital after the accident and went back to China the next day with her travel group. She was reportedly received 120,000 baht (£2272) in compensation from the snake park.
