Yoga for Youth is an ancient scientific yogic tools into a language youth can understand and apply to daily life. Unique programs have been designed to combat a myriad of issues that plague our youth today including stress, anger, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor concentration and obesity.
Aging normally brings along several chronic ailments and diseases. Staying active is the key factor to staying young and slowing the aging process. Yoga offers the young at heart, all of this and more.

"Hard core, soft heart" is the phrase emblazoned on non-profit organization Yogis Heart's fundraising tank tops, and words that its four founders live by.
Yogis Heart, a non-profit to provide 'yoga scholarships' to young people held its launch party on Oct. 5.
The brand new venture, which held its launch party Oct. 5, has a mission to give the gift of yoga, along with its multitude of benefits, to young adults between the ages of 15-25 that are seeking consistent practice, but can't necessarily afford it.
Yoga teaches individuals skills that allow us to deal with stress, to be calm and to approach life differently. If we can offer that to people that wouldn't be able to afford it, we'll be able to change lives and that will seep out into the community and beyond where people are right now in the yoga studio.


The yoga enthusiast has since graduated and began working for lululemon athletica, a yoga-inspired athletic apparel company, where people are supportive of her love of yoga and desire to grow and practice.
