A roughly 465-year-old castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland is at risk of collapse due to floodwaters and riverbank erosion.

Storm Frank has been ravaging the UK, causing rivers to rise and placing people and homes in peril. 

A roughly 465-year-old castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland is one structure now at risk of collapse.

The adjacent riverbank has eroded nearly all the way to the building’s back wall.

Prior to the storm, approximately 60 feet of land separated the castle from the edge of the River Dee. 

Engineers are expected to be onsite soon to assess
