THE LIST

Thanksgiving - Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)
Combining humor with heart, John Hughes brings together John Candy and Steve Martin to create a truly classic odd couple movie.

Chanukah - The Hebrew Hammer (2003)
Sure there’s not much to choose from, but it’s pretty great to see a film that lampoons all religion as a militant Hassidic Jew takes on Santa’s evil son with he help of the Kwanzaa Liberation Front.

New Year’s Eve - The Apartment (1960)
Sure it spans the whole holiday season but it’s the New Year’s climax that really makes the movie.

Accidental Christmas - Die Hard (1988)
Christmas is technically just the backdrop to John McClane kicking terrorist ass, but it certainly gets us in the spirit.

Christmas - It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)
It may seem obvious, but there’s a reason for that. It’s really the perfect classic Christmas film.
