Girl, 15, arrested in bloody murder of mother and mother's boyfriend who she said raped her repeatedly

NEW YORK — An apartment in a Brooklyn housing project was the scene of a bloody crime that took place just after Christmas.
The gruesome scene was discovered in a fifth-floor apartment in Sheepshead Bay Houses, where police found two decomposing bodies on Sunday night.
The New York Daily News, citing an unnamed police source, reports that on Dec. 27 a 15-year-old told her mother she had been raped multiple times by her mother's 40-year-old boyfriend.
Her mother refused to believe the accusations, so she killed her mom and her mom's boyfriend.
Police say the girl then fled to a cousin's house in Sunset Park. Days later, when the cousin grew worried that he hadn't heard from her mother, she confessed to the killing. The cousin promptly called police, who went to the apartment and discovered the decomposing bodies of a man and a woman just after 8 p.m. on Sunday.
They found the mother's boyfriend on the kitchen floor with gunshot and stab wounds and the mother woman slumped in a chair inside a back bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds. A knife and shell casing were also found at the scene.
Officers arrested the girl shortly afterwards and are considering the possibility that a friend may have helped her commit the gruesome murders.
