This process of using a high-pressure water mixture to extract oil and gas from shale rock is a false solution to the problem of global warming, say environmentalists, who ask: Why drill for more fossil fuels, which are the major cause of climate change? Living in close proximity to fracking areas has resulted in health issues including headaches, loss of hair, terrible rashes, tumors, and serious diseases.
