USA: Protests Hit Decision to Exonerate Policeman in Rice Killing

The Grand Jury decision handed down yesterday not to indict the white police officer who fatally shot Tamir Rice, a 12-year old Cleveland African-American, in November 2014 has sparked nationwide protests. Demonstrations were held in Cleveland and New York, and protests are planned for major cities across the U.S. today.
