TORONTO — Two bargain hunters put the "boxing" in Boxing Day when they fought over a parking space at a shopping mall.

A video uploaded to Twitter on Saturday showed the two men trading blows in the parking lot of the Square One Mall in Toronto, CBC News reported.

Twitter user "Sylvester StillAlone" who goes by the handle @WhoSFlyy__ filmed the fisticuffs on his phone as a small crowd watched the action and a bystander tried to break the fight up.

Both men were arrested, and at least one of them sustained some pretty nasty facial injuries in the fight.

Only one of the men was charged. A 38-year-old man from Oakville, Ontario faces charges of assault and dangerous operation of a vehicle, according to CBC News.

The reaction to the shoppers' unseasonal behavior on Twitter ranged from amusement to dismay.

This "is the reason I avoid malls b4 & after christmas," wrote Twitter user @evesimson.

Another poster, @carrie_fv wrote: "well now we know why it's called BOXING day."
