A hot and thirsty koala found comfort on the roadside after days of sweltering conditions in South Australia. This video shows the koala in the Hope Valley, 20 minutes from Adelaide, having a drink from the gutter. The uploader stated: “It found welcome relief via a 20 minute drink of fresh rain water, running in a drain.”According to the Australian Koala Foundation, koalas do not often seek water to drink as they obtain most of their moisture from leaves.
