The Cassini mission’s much anticipated and final near flyby of Saturn’s moon Enceladus has come and gone.

The Cassini mission’s much anticipated and final near flyby of Saturn’s moon Enceladus has come and gone. 
That close encounter occurred on Saturday, December 19th, and the data and images gathered have started to arrive. 
They include close-ups of the moon’s furrows and a wider angle showing the two terrains stretching across the orb’s northern territory.
Scientists involved with the project expressed mixed emotions.
