Steve Harvey accidentally crowns the wrong woman as Miss Universe 2015

LAS VEGAS — The select few who tune into Miss Universe were horrified on Sunday night when the pageant crown was removed from one contestant and placed on the head of another.
The host of the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant, Steve Harvey, is definitely no stranger to embarrassing moments on television, but his mess-up last night may just take the cake.
Harvey had only one real job on Sunday night, and that was to correctly identify and announce the name of the winner.
But cue cards weren't enough to keep Harvey from flubbing the results when it came down to the final two contestants — Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Harvey misread his cue card and accidentally named an ecstatic Gutierrez as this year's Miss Universe. As Gutierrez whipped out a Colombian flag and began showering the audience with kisses and waves, a visibly distraught Harvey re-appeared on stage to correct his earlier mistake.
He crowned the woman he had just announced as the first runner-up — the half-German, half-Filipina Wurtzbach — as this year's winner instead, much to the chagrin of Gutierrez and everyone else watching the show. Wurtzbach was too shocked to even register her win at first.
The telecast abruptly ended after the crown was placed on Wurtzbach's head.
