Yeah, Akshay Kumar touted to be the nemesis of Rajnikant in the sequel to the VFX filled Robot- Robot 2, was not the original choice of the makers. Apparently it was our own Dabangg Bhaijan who was supposed to do the role, but was busy with other projects.

Then it was Amy Jackson who suggested Akshay’s name and the Khiladi was in for the supershow! Well all is well that ends well and Sallu does not have any qualms about missing the bus and neither is Akki overboard with his Rs. 25 crore payment which is what he has quoted for the action stunts in the flick.
