Walmart free shipping day: 2015's last-minute holiday shopping just got cheaper

Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, but Walmart and other retailers are offering one last sales event for holiday shoppers: Free Shipping Day.
Walmart is doing no-cost delivery with no upfront fees on Friday, Dec. 18, for Free Shipping Day 2015. AL.com reports the company had previously only been offering free in-store pickup or free delivery on orders over $50.
According to FreeShippingDay.com, more than 1,000 merchants are participating in the event, including Target, Bass Pro Shops, Express, Tommy Hilfiger, 1-800 Flowers, JCPenny, UGG Australia, Samsung, Sports Authority and more. Many are also offering special deals are select items as well.
To participate, every retailer must offer free shipping with no minimum purchase and guarantee delivery by Christmas Eve.
