Israel hosted air force pilots from the neighboring kingdom of Jordan in a 'cooperation visit' recently, however, one pilot refused to come on the visit, and has been fired, Jordanian media reports.
The news of the pilot's dismissal has aroused a number of objections on social media, with people rallying in the pilot's defense, applauding his statement about fighting Israel, and criticizing the Jordanian's government's decision to hold joint maneuvers with them.
In August Foxtrot Alpha , an American website dedicated to military aviation news, reported that Israeli air force KC-707 fuel tankers escorted Jordanian Air Force F-16s to participate in military exercises in the West of the United States.
The IAF, United States Air Force, Greece's Hellenic Air Force and the Polish Air Force drilled together against a fictional enemy in the "Blue Flag" exercise which also included 34 international obeservers.
