Putin shouldn’t have redundant concerns. Turkey and Russia are friends.

President Erdogan prefers a very kind language when addressing Putin. That is really good of him. He addresses him in a very moderate, calm and kind way.  He should insist on this. Putin will eventually calm down.

 

As far as I can see, what makes Putin worried is this. He thinks that the actions of President Erdogan is for the sake of showing off, for the sake of emphasizing his superiority and underlining his role as a caliphate in the region, for the sake of proving the world that he can even tame Russia, that Turkey is indeed a super power and that others are under our leash.  He thinks that President Erdogan acts like that in order to show the world how powerful he is. This is the image Putin has in his mind when it comes to President Erdogan. And this is the reason why he is acting especially against the reputation of President Erdogan, as far as I can see.
