Two San Francisco police officers rescued an 84-year-old woman who had become stuck in her own bed.

Sometimes good police work is simply a matter of caring enough to make friends.

San Francisco police officers McFall and Cuthbertson became friends with an 84-year-old woman who lives around their watch area.

They regularly drop by and check in on her. But one day she didn’t answer the door.
