New Argentine Gov't to Gut Media Democratization Law

Argentine Telecommunications Minister Oscar Aguad announced that the media law, adopted during Cristina Fernandez's presidential administration, would not remain in place as is. The law sought to democratize the media by reducing concentration and broadening the viewpoints expressed. This will be another measure announced by Mauricio Macri's new administration aimed at eliminating social achievements of the two previous Argentine governments. teleSUR
