Italy's First 9b? Stefano Ghisolfi's Mega-Project, Lapsus -...
Italy has long been waiting for a climber to take sport climbing to the next level, and in 22-year-old Stefano Ghisolfi they seemed to have found their man. In November 2015, climbing in Andonno, Stefano combined the routes of the classic test-piece Noia (8c+) into Anaconda (8c) for a first ascent with a suggested route of 9b. A first for that climbing grade in Italy, and a first for Stefano. Whether it’s confirmed or not, it’s safe to say Stefano is changing the sport-climbing game in Italy, one first ascent at a time.

Check out the teaser for the brand new episode of Stefano Ghisolfi's ascent of Lapsus.
