Bollywood film Industry and controversy they go hand in hand. After all that brings publicity like no other. The year of 2015 for Bollywood saw many controversial films getting released that experienced PIL, open letter, or police complaint.

Bajirao Mastani
The descendants of Peshwa dynasty are all arms against Bajirao Mastani maker Sanjay Leela BHansali as they have hold press conference, protest to stay release of film. They say that Bajirao, Kashibai and Mastani are shown in vulgar light with dance and intimate sequences.

Baby
Akshay Kumar gave stellar performance in film Baby playing secret agent. The film is about terrorism and it being delinked from religion. Basically it was a fictional covert operation. But this rubbed many of the Pakistani officials in wrong way and the film got banned in neighboring country.

Sexuality and films related to it are like taboo and even if it is humorous hunter suffered many cuts before it could get screened on TV. But trouble started when film’s poster was considered obscene so much that it got banned from exhibiting.

Bajrangi BHaijaan
Get shocked as this film had to experience 7 FIRS. Salman Khan starrer Bajrangu Bhaijaan a successful Eid blockbuster made by Kabir Khan got fIRS for like title, anti-national, anti muslim and and many nonsense issues raised. But well it is highest grosser of 2015 and all is well that ends well.

Phantom
Phantom was movie based on terrorism at crux and catching of culprits so it became anti-pakistan. Then it was slapped notice from international NGO for like endangering the reputation of the organization as it is a peaceful organization that is working in war torn Syria because of Katrina Kaif’s character.

Mohalla Assi
Most of you don’t even know there is a film made with this name. Well even before the movie could have hit large screen it got hit by being banned by Delhi court. Well this was due to religious grounds when trailer of the film was seen by people religious groups cried hoarse about using any expletives while talking about gods and goddesses.

Bombay Velvet
The name itself called for being controversial. But this film was lucky. Saved by hair’s breadth as censor board directive of changing Bombay word to Mumbai in all art form was issues. But board considered the fact that film was set in 1960’s and that time it was indeed Bombay and board made one happy exception. Whoa1

MSG: The Messenger of God
MSG: The messenger of God was like criticized by critics nationally, received flak by Sikh community and it actually hurt their sentiments and yet they made a sequel just some months later.

Dirty Politics:
Starring Mallika Sherawat a controversial fond actress she chose a very controversial poster look of the film. She was seen semi nude wearing tri-color and that definitely didn’t fly well with people. ot was objectionable and Dirty Politics fell in to pit of trouble.
